Based in Milan, Marco is Head of Corporate Functions at EOS IM Group.
He brings significant experience in structuring and investing in closed-end funds, alongside a strong ESG sensibility and deep familiarity with the responsible finance ecosystem, having been among the early movers in impact investing in Europe.
Prior to joining EOS IM Group, he served as Senior Advisor at FSI SGR, Italy’s largest growth equity fund (€1.4bn), overseeing investor management and strategic projects focused on sustainability and the digital transformation of the fund’s operations. Previously, he was Head of Investment Funds and International Development at Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, the Italian promotional bank, where he led end-to-end activities related to investment and divestment operations of the Bank’s direct strategic shareholdings and indirect investment schemes across private equity, venture capital and infrastructure (25 investment vehicles; €3.3bn+ AuM).
Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Officer at SACE (part of the CEO’s staff), focusing on strategic planning and M&A. He began at Citigroup and later worked as Senior Financial Analyst at Telecom Italia Group. He has also served as a board and committee member of financial institutions and currently acts as Financial Controller of the Supervisory Board of STMicroelectronics N.V., one of Europe’s leading technology groups.
